Sisters and Brothers:
Our contract has been extended to allow time for ratification. It will now remain in full force and effect through June 8, 2022. It is our intention to have ratification completed by that time, although those details have yet to be finalized. We will communicate those details to you once they are complete.
Since a special meeting will be called for the sole purpose of presenting the tentatively agreed-to contract, we will not be discussing it at our regular monthly meeting this Thursday the 2nd. We will be conducting our other normal business and announcing the officers elected to the next term of office beginning in July.
For those members who have not yet been sworn in, we will do a general swearing-in of membership at the beginning of the ratification meeting so that you will be eligible to vote, as well as at the monthly membership meeting as we always do.
