Contract negotiations have begun between Local 36 and RG&E. If we want to get a good contract all of our members need to step it up. Over the next few weeks and months I will continue to provide updates and next steps, but in the meantime we need everyone to wear their union gear and stay strong. Please also be advised that you may hear rumors over the next few weeks about the negotiations, but they are just that, rumors. The only information that is correct and factual will come from the union. Please keep an eye out for future Conduit emails as well as our mass text messages. These will be the tools used to communicate factual information about the progress of negotiations.
While the negotiation period may be trying, if we stay united and show the company our strength, we will get a fair contract.
