The job that linemen do is both important and dangerous. In the best and worst weather you are an integral part of keeping the power on. The job is so important that we celebrate our linemen on two days! Yesterday, Thursday, April 18th, Congress honors linemen with an officials Lineman Appreciation Day.
The IBEW also honors your work on July 10th, the anniversary of the death of our first President Henry Miller.
Thank you for the excellent work that you do everyday to keep the power flowing. Stay safe out there and continue to uphold the high standard that is expected of an IBEW Lineman.
