Now that we have finalized a transition agreement for the closure/consolidation of the Energy Control Center, we are turning our attention to the upcoming negotiations for the RG&E collective bargaining agreement. I will be giving a status report on our preparations and will be opening up the floor under "New Business" in our monthly meeting to be held this evening, Thursday February 1 at the new time of 5:00 PM at IBEW Local 86 for members of the RG&E unit to ask questions, offer proposals for bargaining and state any related concerns. We will also be conducting a mail-in survey within the next month so if you are not able to attend the meeting, you can still provide your input via the survey that you return to us. I hope to see many of you at the meeting.
